The Sake (Nihonshu) Navigator certification is a basic introductory qualification that allows individuals, including those in the food and beverage industry, to explore the charm of Japanese sake. This qualification can be earned by completing the Sake (Nihonshu) Navigator online course.
Upon achieving the required passing scores for all examinations, students will receive:
– A digital certificate will be issued upon completion.
– A card type certificate will be mailed from Japan (delivery usually takes 1–2 months).
After obtaining the foundational Sake (Nihonshu) Navigator certification, students are eligible to enroll in the International Kikisake-shi (Sommelier of Sake) professional certification course. This advanced certification is tailored for professionals and offers deeper expertise in sake tasting and evaluation.
