The Wines of Alentejo, Portugal with Jimmy Smith [January 2]

Join our returning guest-speaker Jimmy Smith as he introduces the emerging wines of Portugal's Alentejo region. After recently becoming Alentejo's Ambassador for Talha wines (wines made in traditional clay amphora-like pots) and visiting the region Jimmy has put together a mouthwatering list of his favourite wines.
Expect the usual stories and humour, starting off with a wonderful traditional method sparkling wine, a selection of fresh to complex whites, layered reds and of course a few 'Talha' wines too. Do not miss!
Jimmy has been running West London Wine School since January 2010. He also co-founded Streatham Wine House in October 2016 and became co-owner of South London Wine School in June 2019. In 2020, Jimmy started his Youtube channel ‘Wine With Jimmy’ aimed at providing top quality wine-focused educational content.
