About the On-Demand Course:
This course is entirely online, including the exam, and designed so that the student can progress through the course materials at their own pace. Within 24 hours of registration, students will be provided with access to our proprietary online learning platform, where they will be able to access:

Additionally, students are able to contact the course tutor with any questions they have during their studies. Students will be provided with an ebook version of the WSET Level 2 Award in Beer study pack, containing access to the digital textbook. Students are provided with a Beer Tasting List, containing all of the beer samples that are referenced throughout the course. Once the course has been completed, students are able to schedule the online exam through Commonwealth Wealth Wine School for a date and time of their choice, in order to achieve the WSET Level 1 Award in Beer certification
About Level 2:
If you know the basic beer styles—such as what separates an Ale from a Lager and that Oktoberfest is originally from Germany —then begin at Level 2. This beginner to intermediate beer course offers greater breadth and depth of material, more tasting opportunities and additional classroom hours compared to Level 1. It’s for anyone who:

How does the Online Course work?
The course material should take about six hours in total to complete, plus revision time, and self-led access and participation in online course materials is essential for this mode of study.
Students are able to contact the course tutor at any time during their studies, should they have any questions.
Each module includes a series of independent activities to help you understand the differences between the major styles of beer from around the world.
At the end of the course, you’ll complete a short, multiple-choice exam (available online on a date and time of your choosing), and upon passing, will receive a Digital Level 1 WSET certificate and Digital Badge.Beer Tasting:

Students will receive a list of Beers that can be assessed throughout the course. Students are able to practice tasting during their on-demand studies through interactive tasting assignments.
