Introduction to Food and Wine Pairing [January 23]

Saturday, January 23, 6:30-8:00pm EST

Why do some wines make your favorite food sing, and others just fall flat? How can one kind of wine be such an amazing partner for a particular dish, while other wines fail miserably? What’s the secret to making it all work?

Join us for an evening of delicious discovery as we take a deep dive into the nuts and bolts of food and wine pairing! You’ll sample a variety of snacks, treats, and other foods paired with an array of wines while learning the principles of using acidity, sweetness, texture, and other characteristics to bring together food & wine in ways that result in explosions of flavor! Whether you’re a master chef or just love microwave popcorn on the couch, this class will teach you how to create pairings you will love.

We will make every effort to accommodate food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, but, due to the fact that we work with small producers from around the globe, we are unable to guarantee or protect from cross contamination.

Cost: $105

Location: Commonwealth Wine School, Cambridge, MA

Instructor: CWS Faculty
