Iconic Wines, Iconic Producers - Bordeaux Icons [April 12]

Friday, April 12, 6:30pm-8pm ET

Bordeaux Icons

An iconic wine is typically one that has achieved a level of recognition, prestige, and influence that sets it apart from others. So many factors contribute to the iconic status of a wine or producer - From terroir and historical significance, to quality, consistency, critical acclaim, and cultural impact. And most of them are more expensive than many of us can afford.

Join Commonwealth Wine School Director, Jessica Sculley, for our iconic wine series, where we will delve into the significance of these wines, learn about their impact, and most importantly, get to taste them. We'll have the opportunity to sample some older vintages to see how they've held up through the years. Each class will be limited to a small group so that each person will have a healthy pour. Light appetizers will also be provided.

This tasting will feature:

2002 Dom Perignon Champagne

2018 Château Pape Clement Blanc

1995 Château Cheval Blanc

2001 Château Haut Brion

2005 Château Suduiraut Sauternes

Cost: $300

Location: Commonwealth Wine School

Instructor: Jessica Sculley
