An Introduction to Wine - Foundational Wine Course [September 1 - 15]
Wednesdays, Sept 1st, 8th 15th - 6-8:30pm
Have you wanted to learn more about the world of wine, but haven’t been exactly sure where to start? Do you know some basics, maybe some regions or varietals that you really like, but feel confused when you look at a wine list or wander through the aisles of the wine shop? This is the course for you. We will tackle the basics of the world of wine, leaving you with a broad understanding of:
the components of wine tasting
grape growing and wine making
major grape varietals
the principle wine regions of the world
storing, serving and pairing wines with food.
This limited-size class will be held in person at Commonwealth Wine School.
