Take a whirlwind virtual tour through the wines of France with French Wine Scholar Kim Simone. In this introductory course you’ll learn why France is the archetypical region when we talk about fine wine, the basic grapes and styles of each of the major regions, and start to gain an understanding of how to decipher a French wine label.
This class is available to you on our Online Learning Platform. Once enrolled, you will receive a link to order your tasting kit from Master the World if you have chosen that option, or a list of the wine styles to purchase on your own. Study anytime, and have access to all of the course information for one year.

What is in the Tasting Kit? We work with Master the World to curate the best examples of French wines for this course. Each kit contains six 187mL bottles of wine that you can either taste blind, or you can peel back the label to reveal the producers and vintage inside the bottle.
