Ashley Broshious

Ashley is an Advanced Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, holds the WSET III, and has been an instructor for the Napa Valley Wine Academy since 2015. She has taught seven different courses and has mentored dozens of Introductory, Certified Advanced, and Master Sommelier Candidates. Ashley started working as a sommelier when she was 22 for Eric Ripert at his restaurant Blue on Grand Cayman. For the past 12 years, she has built and managed beverage programs in California and South Carolina and is skilled in wine program management, list creation, staff training, budgets, Profit and Loss Statements as well as bar and beer programs. She uses her degree in Biology to break down the processes of viticulture and enology to help students be able to succeed with the technical details of theory and tasting. After preparing herself for the Master Sommelier Exam she is a resource on study techniques, planning, time management, and the importance of topics based on each individual exam. She recently became a National Ambassador for both Bordeaux Superieur and specializes in French and American wines while being well versed in all regions of the world.
